Kitten Information
ShamrocksNZ kittens are registered with NZ Cat Fancy (NZCF) – will come with a kitten pack and a personalised information/care pamphlet (generally emailed to you a week before you pick up your new baby).
All kittens are regularly wormed from 4 weeks of age until they go to their new homes and will be flea treated before leaving.
All our kittens will be sold:
- Desexed
- Fully vaccinated (x2)
- Registered with CatzInc (and NZCF in case of show/ breeding)
- Regularly flead/wormed
- With kitten info pack and food samples
- Microchipping and registered in the NZ Animal Register

Please Note that our standards and polydactyls are not the same price – kittens will be ready to leave ShamrocksNZ around the age of 12-14 weeks old (depending on desexing) and will be vet checked prior to leaving.
Once you have decided on the kitten you want, you will need to pay a $500 deposit to reserve that kitten – it is not secured until the deposit is paid. The deposit is refundable if there is a genuine reason for not following through on the purchase, but not if you just change your mind. Payment in full must be made at least a week before the kitten leaves ShamrocksNZ.
Kittens can be flown around NZ via Air NZ if you are unable to pick up – this can be arranged via a “Pet Travel” Agency. You will need to supply an “airline approved” cat cage (at your cost) – some Agencies will “hire” a cage if you cannot supply one.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if there is a particular colour that you are interested in. If I don’t have what you are looking for, I may be able to direct you to other Registered Breeders that do or I can place you on my “contacts” list and let you know once I have babies available. I will always contact those on my list before I place any kittens on my website.
